Laura Chism joined DHRP in 2024 and is an experienced Human Resources and Operations professional with nearly 20 years of expertise in human resources, staff development, and event planning. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a Master’s degree in Health Services Management & Policy, both from The Ohio State University.

She has extensive experience managing e-learning & HRIS systems, developing training programs, and coordinating large-scale workshops and events that enhance employee growth and organizational effectiveness. Throughout her career, Laura has supported teams through onboarding, compliance training, and leadership development initiatives, ensuring that employees are equipped for success.

 Laura lives in Round Rock, TX with her husband and four children, and enjoys being active in her community and spending time with family.
