Daniel M. Briggs has dedicated his entire business career to real estate brokerage, consulting, and development in San Antonio, Texas. His journey began while attending The University of Texas at San Antonio, where he pursued his real estate license.
After obtaining it in 1982, Dan started with a local home builder, focusing on residential lot development, homebuilding, and multi-family projects. During the Texas S&L crisis of the late 1980s, he transitioned to commercial real estate, joining D.B. Harrell Co.
In 1993, Dan co-founded United Commercial Realty, which quickly became a premier retail brokerage firm in Texas.
Since leaving UCR, Dan has expanded his portfolio significantly, developing hotels, apartments, retail centers, and office buildings across South Texas and nationwide. His impressive range of projects spans from Nashville to Las Vegas, showcasing his versatility and expertise in various real estate sectors.
A career highlight includes his instrumental role in creating the Briscoe Museum. Dan’s community involvement extends to Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, The San Antonio Sports Foundation, and co-founding Sculpture Trail LLC, demonstrating his commitment to both professional excellence and community service.
